Both Cary and Mike are on the speaker list, though, so I'm not sure it matters where they work, does it? Sorry to hear you think last year wasn't as good. This will be my first, so I'm excited to attend and hope it will be a good year!

Unfortunately Hotsos is not what used to bel.As you know Cary left them and started new company.Also Mike ( Rac gury ) works for Oracle now .Last year presentations were not good as previous years.
I was there and best part is to be at the party at president suite ...Do not miss it...

Have some vodka.. That will help and keep it short.

Thanks, Patty. I'm not really scared--I know quite a few of the people that
I'm sure will be there and meeting new folks doesn't make me nervous anyway.
I'm looking forward to it! Now, if I can just get started writing the
session I promised to do :).

I would say relax, don't be scared! I have been to every Symposium to date and one of the things I like best about it is that it is small and friendly yet full of the best Oracle performance information you can find!
